If Access 2010 is installed on a new laptop which is not going to be connected to the internet for some time, will it still be necessary to "activate" Access to avoid "reduced functionality" mode, (i.e. where the software is effectively nobbled until activated)?
In other words, does the requirement to "activate" Access (i.e. after 30 days or so) only kick in if connected up to the internet?
I ask because an employee at PC World (UK computer and electrical chain) said he thought the issue of activation wouldn't arise if not connected up to the internet but I wondered about that.
Thanks
Mike
