HI everyone,

I have seen a number of Access '97 applications being deployed to one setup file using Wyse Installation. Anyone who knows how to deploy an Access '97 application using Wyse Installation. I would truly appreciate it.
I know i need runtime files of access right? Has anyone has a copy of it?

Thank you in advance

Edwin

First, it will be hard to find now, 7 years after initial roll-out. Second, it is not advisable to roll out anything in Ac97 as a new product if you can help it, because Ac97 has fallen off the "supported" list. I.e. no more patches at the Windows Update site.

Access 2000

I should have known. Anyway, my question still stands. How about for Access 2000.
Delpoying Access 2000 database using Wyse Installation. Anyone has a runtime files for Access 200.

Thanks.

Edwin

You best bet is to search Ebay and hope somebody is willing to give it up. If you are serious about deploying the Access runtime then you should consider buying Access 2003 [or Access XP] and you will need the Developers Edition [Studio Tools for the 2003 version] to create the runtime package.

Nobody can just give you a copy of the runtime files. That would be illegal. The developers edition allows you to create and distribute a runtime version of Access. It creates an installation package that installs the runtime version of Access on the users computer.
