Question Access Database Password Recovery

Hello All,

I am relatively new to Access, I have learned the basics and created several databases. My question today is regarding passwords and security for access files.

Several years ago at my first place of employment I created my first Access database which I password protected with a user-name and password.

Today I am attempting to access the database (no pun intended) with no success because I am not able to remember the user-name and password I created some time ago.

I have attempted to run several different types of database password recovery software which has failed to recover any password. In fact, every program I have run states the file is NOT password protected.

Any help with this issue would be greatly appreciated.

Hi, I have a similar challenge with a file for MSAccess 2007. Did you have any luck with this problem?

If so I would be very grateful to know how.
