Access database volum problem

Hi guys, I think this is a really critical problem, since access can only save 2G data, what if the data volum exceeds this restriction? is there any solution for such problem?

I am thinking to use access as front end for date mainpulation and enquery while using SQL as the back end database. I wanna know is that workable and what is the drawback of such combination?

Sure; most of my apps use SQL Server as the back end.

2Gb is a lot, and unless you are already familiar with SQL, it may be easier to stick with access front and back, until you are sure you need to go to SQL.
