I created one MS access database and I added some table in that and I have other access mdb file with same name so when I open the first one file and I copied the second one file in same location it asked me to overwrite but I have using that file my issue is that while using access file if I am overwriting it wont allow me to overwrite it has to stop doing. Is their any solution for this.

Two Access files with the same name can't exist in the same directory. You'll need to create a new directory or rename one of the files.

Or if you want to overwrite it, have everyone out of the file before trying to overwrite it.

i dont want to overwrite while access of MDB file

I mean to say that, I have MDB file I am accessing that file (current) then I have same name file with different database so I trying to copy that new file in old file location (what I am right know accessing), so it is coping that, that I don’t wont! .To stop or while accessing MDB file it has to lock and it won’t allow any one to overwrite or modify
