Access file problem... help!!!

an access file shows that can't find (as it says) the object database!!!! & don't opens...
the file is 3.5 mb and was working till yesterday just fine
but today without no reason doesn't open...!!!

i'm using access 2002

any ideas???

Not sure if its relevant but Access has a file limit of 2GB and you say you file is nearly twice that.

OOOps must get myself new glasses. well at least we know that file size isn't the issue. What happens if you try to open the file by clicking on it. Do you link to other Access files. is it a split DB.

are you saying that wen you double click on the file.mdb it say's cannot find ACCESS.exe or when you try to open via Access Recently Opened it cant find or what? sorry its just difficult to understand what you mean when you have a lack of important words in your sentences!
