Access Form 2 Word

i have a database which i have created with a form. Now there is also a word document i have been given and i want to be able to add a button to the form and when i click the button it loads up word and then exports out the name and address from the record im on into the word docuement which is an appllication form.

i dont want to have to import the word document into an access report as its 5 pages long.

Is this possable.
 
If it's a Fill-in forms with Form fields, then it's much easier. Look into FormFields, Bookmarks then OLE Automation to see how Access can interact with Word to fill in those information for you.
 
No form fields

no the word document doesnt have any form fields in. So what is the best way to do this
 
check out the super easy word function in samples - this does exctly what you are after - it takes 1 record and then dumps into word as a merge
see if you cna find my notes on it if you are a Access newbie

where would i find these samples?. im not new to access but certaintly to do VBA in acccess.
 
type it on the search - or even in goggle search

the actual plug in has been done by someone outside of the forum
