I have created an Access form and have the shortcut on the desktop. I need the users to be able to open the form, but so that the window is only the size of the form. ie the Access window does not open in the background. I have heard this is easy, but after searching, have not found the answer. Hope someone can help.
Thank you.

The easiest way I know of is to set the form's POPUP property to TRUE (and possibly the MODAL property too) then edit the shortcut properties and select 'run minimized'

The only trouble with this is that you obviously won't be able to get to the standard Access toolbars and the like.

Thanks, that is hopefully all I need. I have all they need on the form. Just like a questionare. They fill it out, and on the cmdbutton's onclick/onclose property, the entered data is saved in the database table. It is simple inventory keeping.
Thanks again.

Well, after all of my searching I found that when you size the Access window to any particular size, and exit out of it, on start up it stays the size you left it. So I made the window smaller than the form and the problem is solved. Thanks for you help Mike
