Access Forum Addict....has report problem

Here it is....

I have a report based on a querry

The user must enter 2 paramaters


Parameter 1:
Like [Enter Grade Level (text)] & "*" Or Is Null

Parameter 2:
Like [Enter City's Name] & "*" Or Is Null

The REPORT HEADER also has a Label
Control source set to 'Enter Title'
AND

The PAGE HEADER has a Label
Control source set to 'Enter Title'

that should prompt the user to enter the name they prefer for this report


This report worked for several weeks now i get the following message when i pompt to view the report:


Enter Grade Level
(i enter a grade level click OK) no probs this far

THEN, I get

Enter City Name], 2 [Unknown]=['Enter Title'
(I enter a city's name)

THEN i get


Enter Grade Level
(i enter the same grade level again click OK)

THEN, i get

Enter Sites Name], 5 [Unknown]=['Enter Title'

THEN the report appears...it looks okay

the title that appear is the the CITY's Name i type the second time.... (City name and Title are usually the same name)

this will be tooo confusing for the users who will be using this form...any ideas as to why this is happening???


and while am i on this topic....i am having problems with the page orientation of the reports...initially i set the page orientation to landscape and saved....and it stayed landscape for a spell...now when i preview the report it is portrait...i changed it back and it changes for awhile but this doesnt happen to ALL reports ALL of the time...

1. I have not changed the page numbers at all..however, they are the x of y style...report template was made from wizard, then i made changes i needed but did not mess with the page numbers

2. I made the changes you suggested (unchecked auto correct)but nothing has changed..report still as before

i did remove the TEXT BOX from both the Report and Page Header (control was set to 'Enter Title')

the TEXT BOX seems to be the problem as it works fine with the txt box removed ...... i am prompted for the parameters and the report is generated (still wrong orientation) but i still need to be able to title it appropriately......

the thing is this text box for adding a title to the report worked fine a few days ago.....

the orientation seems to only break when i switch computers...one has access 2002 the other access 2000
could this be the problem???
