Question about Access licences.

I have to develop an access database that will be used by 7 people including me. I wanted to ask about how many access licences do we have to purchase. Is it possible to create such a database in access that runs independently from access, i.e. we do not need to buy licences for the 6 people who will use it but just for me who will develop it?

You can not develop an application that does not require Access to run. However, if you buy the developer version of Access, it includes a freely distributable runtime version of Access. Otherwise, each of your users will have to purchase Access (to be legal).
