Access on the web - EQLData.com

One of the readers here has found EQLData.com, and apparently intends to use that to make his Access DB accessible through www. See http://www.access-programmers.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?p=1139705

I have difficulties in understanding how their solution works, which of course only means that I do not understand it.

Any comments and opinions would be useful, because simple web access to Access is more and more akin to The Holy Grail

I haven't looked at them myself. I read a thread somewhere and the conclusion was that they are basically providing a remote desktop solution.
