ACCESS prompts for index number upon running a report

I created a report based on a query, when I run the report, Access prompts to enter [table-name].index number. I just press the OK button, the report runs fine. Why does it do this? How do I fix this?
I am asking for help from all the Access experts out there. This is the 1st time I work with Access 2007.

Does that field exist in the record source of your report?

yes, index number is a field in my table
