activate button('s sub routine) from other form

Hello, I looked around for a thread pertaining to this and couldn't find anything.

I want to take a part number given in one form, open a second form and then activate a command on that second form.

I'm able to save the part number (in a variable) and open the second form. The only problem I'm having is I can't figure out how to actually access or reference that sub routine for the command button on the second form.
