Active X: Date/Time Picker

I'm using the Date/Time Picker Active X Control on a form. The "value" property of the control is set for the date that I added the control to the form. I assumed that the value would reflect the current date. I have tried just about everything. Does anyone out there know how to deal with this? Thanks, Lucy
