Add field to Linked CSV directly

Hi All,

I currently have a CSV Table consisting of 30 fields linked to my access database, now and again I need to add additional fields. but each time I do this I'm having to relink the csv and rename all the field names etc..

Is it possible for me to add a new field directly in the CSV files and quickly refresh the linked table in access to pick up the new field? I've tried the Table Linked Manager. but it doesnt pick up the new field :(

First and foremost, not every Excel format supports every possible type of database connection, and it has been this way for as long as I can recall with respect to linking Excel as a recordsource.

Second, I don't think you start with the Linked Table Manager when you have added a new field. I think you remove and re-import the table. (But hey, I could be wrong on that one - it isn't something I do very often.)
