Add memo field to form

I created a form called invoices, which allows all the calculations and queries to be based on this form. I realised after i had created my database that i needed a memo field for users to store other information which may not fit into a certain field. i did this by going back to the relevant linked tables..and adding this field on.I then added this memo field to the form. however everytime i write in this field..the information is passed into all the other records that you scroll through. and if you exit the form you lose the information all together!?

Can anyone help ..i hope its a simple mistake! :confused:

p.s have also added this field to my relevant queries.
 
Make sure you set the Control Source property for the memo field on your form to the actual field in the table.
