Add New Record

Hi everyone,

I've just started using Access 97 and am trying to create a command button to open a new record when you click it.

I've used the wizard but get an error message everytime I try it

Ambiguous name detected: Add_ New_Record_Click

Does anyone know how I can get round this doing it myself or how to fix the error?

It usually means you have more than one object with the same name so it gets confused

Check your naming on all objects on the form.
