Question Add to birth date

Hi,

How can i add a number of years (eg. 55) to the date of birth (eg. 28/08/1973) so that i can end up with a new year (eg. 28/08/2028) in another field?

I am attempting to calculate the date of retirement.

DateAdd ( interval, number of years, date / date field )
 
e.g.
DateAdd ( "yyyy", 55, [DateOfBirth] )

Too many assumptions. I was on track to retire at age 65 in 2024. Then the Aussie government moved the goal posts to 67 for anyone born in my year onwards.

However I have very little superannuation and little doubt that the pension will be unlivable by then anyway and I will be working until I drop.

Think yourself lucky, if you were younger you would suffer even more extensions of the retirement age.

I'm 26, I wonder what age retirement will be in another 4 decades?
