Adding a tick box to an existing form

Hi,
I'm trying to add a tick box to an existing form.
Though when I select the option on the tool bar it deposits the tick box on the form.
However I'm not sure how to link this with the form I want the data to be stored to.
How do I do this?

Set the checkbox's ControlSource to the Yes/No field in your form's recordsource.

How do you see the forms recordsource ?

By selecting the form and then selecting Properties from the menu (when in Design View)

Hi,
I can see the forms record source but this seems to be general to the whole form but it does refer to the table that I want the data to be stored.

So I'm not sure if Im looking at the right part

Select your checkbox, select properties, change its ControlSource to the field you want
