I'm using Access97 and have a subform within a form. The main form has navigation buttons in the Form footer which I can clearly see once I switch to Design View. However, I am unable to see the form footer for the subform as in Design view it just shows as a white rectangle with the name of itself top left - no fields shown in the subform. I have tried right clicking all over to access the form footer of the subform and cannot. I figured if I had a scroll button on the subform (as I do on the main form) I would be able to scroll down to the footer and get to its Properties to add navigation!
How can I add navigation buttons to a subform without being able to access it in Design View? I do not understand why the subform shows no fields in Design View. I'm newish to this.
Thanks for any help - Julie
