Adding New checkbox to existing form

I'm currently working on a coursework project making a booking system for a hotel. I've got all my forms and everything set up and working great but I want to add 2 checkboxes on the booking form - one for checking in guests when they arrive and the other to show that the guests have left after their stay. I tried just adding 2 "Yes/No" entries on the Booking table and adding 2 checkboxes on the form and trying to link them together but it won't work because the new "Yes/No" entries aren't on the Control Source list when I click on the checkbox properties. I dont want to start from scratch because it works great, I really need to find a way to just add these boxes. Thanks in advance.

You should be able to add yes/no entries into the table and link them on a form.

Have you saved the table?
Enter the new entries into the table, then save the changes.
open your form and insert the checkboxes then go to the data tab on properties of the check box and you should be able to link to the table entry.

If you have no joy, post the table & form in a sample db and I will have a look at it.
