Not a developer, really. But have developed a couple of Access db's I'd like to share with others that don't have access on their machines.

Prelim research indicates that ADE is one path I could take.

But don't want to overkill/mis-buy.

Is Visual Studio Standard Edition (the bottom line,I guess) for me to to do the ADE thing, or is there a smarter, less-encompassing way to get what I want to do accomplished legally - i.e. with unlimited distribution.

ADE??? Dont you mean MDE? If not what is a ADE?

If you are refering to a work environment, and they have a developer licence. Then you could use the Run-time version to run your db on their machine.

If not a work environment and/or no licence, then your pretty much out of luck as far as I know...
