Ok this is very possibly either impossible or WAY out of my league.
My IT-Illiterate supervisor would like to know if we can add a process to the nexus (the intranet database I'm creating) which will RECIEVE and process an email. So for example.
The Nexus has an email address like nexus@dpc-designs.co.uk and then whenever an email is sent to that address the database picks it up and pops up an alert AND adds the contents of the email to a table.
Even more complicated. Only employees would be able to use this email address ie. on receipt of an email it checks the address against the employee email address and if it matches one then it will process it as above, if it does not match then it will simply forward the email to another email address.
Is this possible or shall I go pour hot coffee on my supervisors lap?
