Another problem with totals

Hi;
I have created a report which has a field named Debit. When I put a text box in the "report footer" section with the following control source: "=Sum([Debit])", everything is ok and I have the total at the last page of my report. But when I copy& paste the same control in the "page footer" section , I get a "#error".
Is there any way to have the total at the end of each page?
This is related to the other thread psted by me today.

I've been wondering for a long time, Rich. Did you learn them all by heart? Can we input a question, twist an ear an get a number?

I apply a scientific approach developed and refined since starting in Access, I cheat by looking up the answers in the Help files
How's the diet, by the way, you are sticking to it, aren't you?

With a minimum of 2 posts per day, I am afraid I am on a very bad slope... looking down I can see I am heading towards Stout chum, Weighty mate, Plump buddy, Heavyweight, Serious Heavyweight, Rich, Overweighed pal.
Which makes me think I'm still in time to tighten my belt
