I am using Access 97. I have a field titled NAME_VENDOR in a table titled none_VENDOR_MASTER1.
I am trying to update the NAME_VENDOR field to all upper case for existing entries.
I have tried the search on this site but either I am using the wrong criteria or I do not understand any of the responses.
I also read my HELP in Access and even several other examples on the internet but the result of my trying an update query was that the names of all my vendors was changed to UCASE. Glad I used a backup table to experiment.
Can someone explain to a somewhat update query challenged individual how to update this specific field?
TIA
Charlie
