Append to field.

Here is a sample database. I need to be able to type something in the memo text box. Then select a location from the combo box. Then hit the button to APPEND it to the selected field from the combo box. I don't know how to set this up. Please help!

I need it to append, not overwrite. Basically, if something is already there, I need it to add to it. This is driving me crazy.

I basically just want to know how to append one text box to the data in another. On a new line in the text box if possible.

i dont understand where it is supposed to append to. Where exactly is is coming from and to? Is it posting to a table or just a temp on the form?

Did you download the sample? I want the Memo field to append to the field that is chosen from the combobox. Is that clear enough?

so say you type in
"this person did not pay on time" into the memo box then you select complaint date from the combo you want "this person did not pay on time" to appear in the first text box??????

Yes!!!! But I also want to be able to add to it.

Let's say today they type. "This person did not pay on time" and complaint date (my error, should say detail ) then it will appear in the Complaint detail field.

Then tomorrow they go in and want to add to it. They type "This person still has not paid" in the memo field and then choose complaint date. I want the Complaint Detail field to have both memos on it. Preferably separated on a new line in the same text box. (Like pressing <ctrl>+<enter>) How do I accomplish this?
