Attach Linking to Photographs on a network drive

Hello.

I was wondering if the following was possible.

I have 10000+ records with a unique 'propref' number in the database.
I also have tens of thousands of photographs on a network drive all with the propref encorporated into the title.

is there a way to get some sort of link so that users can be directed or attached the right photographs to the right address?

900100054_54_peel_road_front_elevation

You should be able to use the Left(FileName,9) to isolate the correct images.

How would this link be incorporated into access?
I have just been manually adding all the photographs as attachments. lol works but taking along time.

Also when I view the form the photographs load in the controlbox. However only when you click into this box does a small navigation button appear to scroll through the pictures is there a way to manauall insert buttons to scroll through the photographs?
