Attachment Data Type

I am using Access 2007 and I am trying to create an attachemnt type field in a table. Yet when I select the types of Data Types, attachement is not an option. Can you possibly tell me why?

What's an attachment type? Isn't that a string?

Guus, the attachment data type is new to A2007 and replaces the OLEDB datatype.

Robair, sorry I don't use A2007 so can't help.
