Attachment Fields - won't show on Form

I've set the Control Source of an Attachment Control correctly, for a field in a table which holds 5 attachments ( files 4 x .doc and 1 x .pdf ). However when the form loads, it shows no icon, and when I click on the 'paperclip' with control, to view files there are none shown. Also of course, the forward and back arrows, show no files either. Any ideas ? Thank you.:banghead:

If the dB is split then I suggest delete the linked table which contains attachment and relink again. Might help.

I don't know what a 'split' Db is. Do you mean by deleting the linked table, making a copy of it, and deleting the existing one. Then use the new one ?

I have seen sometimes this problem when a database is splitted in backend and front end. In that case, table in front end is just a linked table and can be deleted and relinked again. That solved my problem sometimes.

So if you have this case, you can consider.
