That is so wrong. You seem to purposely suppress the fact that it is the Palestinians who attacked Israel in a vile sneak attack killing innocent civilians. It would appear that Hamas has successfully manipulated the narrative (in the best propaganda traditions of Goebbels) to portray the Palestinians as innocent victims even-though they are the genocidal maniacs. The Palestinians refuse to acknowledge the existence of Israel and seek to exterminate the Jewish population. They do not deserve their own "state" as they have not shown the world that they are civilized since they promote war instead of peace. The Palestinians must be condemned.

• The UN failed to protect Israel. The UN failed to prevent the attack on Israel and failed to disarm Hamas and Hezbollah.
• In a separate case, that demonstrates the failure of the UN to act as a peacekeeper, the UN failed to prevent the Russian attack on the Ukraine.
• Many UN diplomats walked out when Netanyahu went to speak before the UN. That was very unprofessional (antisemitic) conduct by those diplomats who walked out. It demonstrates that many members of the UN are on the side of the terrorists and do not support a real diplomatic solution to the Israeli/Palestine conflict.
• Members of the UN, supposedly providing humanitarian assistance to those in Gaza, have turned out to also be member of Hamas (a terrorist organization).

You really need to get up to speed with reality and real history. Palestine has been independent from Israel since 2004!!! That is more than 20 years. And what have they done with all the billions given to them in aid and cash? They have bought bombs to drop on playgrounds and schools to kill Jewish children. Wow - that's sick actions on the part of Israel. I do believe that despite being a special part of God's plans for mankind in the past, they will pay a severe price for what they have done over the past couple years. Severe beyond anything they think they've endured up to now.

It is very unfair to point a finger of blame at Israel when the opposition has committed and continues to commit atrocities against Israeli civilians and continues to spew a call to jihad (genocide) against Israel. Consider the fact that the Palestinians instead of making Gaza into new Singapore, turned it into an armed fortress for the sole purpose of attacking Israel. Where is the "peace" in that. Since the Palestinians do not seek peace, but continued Jewish deaths, they have not earned any sympathy.
