Attack on Israel (1 Viewer)

Pretty amazing, and encouraging that Jordan and Saudi Arabia joined in to help bring down the bombs and drones Iran was shooting at Israel. Did the Abraham Accords actually do something positive? Where is Trump's Nobel Peace prize?

President Joe Biden marked the beginning of Ramadan by issuing a statement recognizing the “moment of immense pain” for many Muslim Americans while affirming his efforts to deliver humanitarian aid into Gaza.
We are on the eve of Passover. Biden will probably never recognize the immense pain that the Jews have suffered from the barbarians (Hamas) who attacked Israel out of Gaza. Biden has no empathy for the Jews.

Seems that the situation has gotten worse:

The US should be sanctioning Gaza (Hamas) for its war crimes, not the IDF for defending Israel. So; as Passover gets underway, it appears that the Biden administration will be "disciplining" Israel, but not Hamas, Hezbollah or Iran who are the aggressors.

Moreover the US should not be giving Gaza humanitarian aid. Humanitarian aid should be used as leverage to get those in Gaza to surrender and release the hostages. You don't win a war by supplying the enemy.

Article -> Saving Hamas

The Palestinian terror organization refuses to release hostages while clinging to its last stronghold in Rafah. So why is the Biden administration throwing the full weight of the U.S. government at Israel to prevent it from routing Hamas?

The Biden team’s moves to shelter Hamas are best understood in the context of a revolutionary program of domestic initiatives that aim to reconstitute American society on a new basis, and which in turn require the outright rejection of the country’s history and culture, its existing social arrangements, and constitutional order. The current regime has weaponized the security state, labeled its opponents “domestic terrorists,” and waged a third-world-style campaign against the opposition candidate because it’s a revisionist faction. Its political and cultural manifesto is a program for remaking America, whether through social pressure, or censorship, or bureaucratic fiat, or threats of violence, or actual violence. Among other devices to transform America, the Biden administration has opened the border to at least 7 million illegal aliens (and counting), many from places in the Middle East where Hamas is revered, and for whom political violence means steady, well-paid work.

And now he's pushing to import the terrorists as refugees so we can support them while they plan their terrorism.

Israel are seen, more and more, in the West, as a Tyrant state. They have, since 1948, intimidated and killed Palestinians to force them off the land they've lived on for generations. to allow their own borders to expand. It makes Hamas's incursion seem small by comparison, over time.

Netanyahu always decries the actions of the attacks, but does little to curb the violence. Only a few days ago, another Palestinian was killed by illegal settlers. He relies on the West to keep out of the troubles but expects them to supply arms.

It seems to me, Israel wants to remove the Palestinians as much as the Palestiniians want to remove Israel. I blame the UK for establishing the Israeli state, with pressure and support from the Jew-financed US. There has been nothing but trouble ever since.

Something's got to give soon. The Palestinians should be given their own state and the Israelis should take their borders back to their 1948 lines and maintain order in their country. Hamas should become a respected military force and both sides should to acknowledge each other's existence.

Sensible people don't believe in divine right. This is just one tribe fighting another with one side having its hands tied behind its back.

Increasingly, the West agrees. There is more support for the Palestinians than the Jews, these days.

Every time since 1948 when a conflict arose and some particular two-state solution was proposed, it was always the Muslims (more specifically, people of Arab ethnicity) who rejected the plan. Palestine doesn't want a two state solution. They want to eliminate all Jews. Sorry, Dave E, but that is not a peaceful solution and you have to be a bit blind to not recognize that. Actions speak louder than words and the Oct. 7th massacre spoke loudly. Why, then, were you not listening?

Your comment speaks volumes. Neither side may want a two state solution but both sides want to eradicate each other. It could be a solution with a short-term demilitarised zone to stop them killing each other. It sort of works in Korea. As long as the Jews believe they are the chosen ones, there will be no peace in the Middle East.

The events of October 7th were, in essence, an attack on the Israeli people, There is no doubt about that, but knowing, and reading about the continued atrocities that are caused by the settlers against the Palestinians on a daily basis, it seems hard not to revile one without reviling the other. Am I'm surprised you can't see that? Why then, are you not seeing?

Speaking of which, the western governments, especially the US, are content to let the Middle East squabble. It keeps them from attacking the West and they don't want to lose arm sales.

You don't have to apologise for thinking your opinion is better than mine. We believe what want to believe on equal terms. If there was an easy solution, we'd have seen it by now. So, in the meantime, we watch and wait while the Israelis quietly take over the West Bank illegally, and barbarically, and the Palestinians fight back. Of course, the US will never cease their support of Israel. The US is controlled...

I equate this (in my mind) to the stories we hear from the immigrants on the USA southern border - that the gangs run things and you either do as the gang says or you die. I can easily imagine a "vote for Hamas or die" at the ballot box.
And Israel is different,how?

Outright lie. There WAS a two-state solution when the British partitioned what was left of the Palestine mandate in 1948. Except that the very next day, the surrounding Arab countries invaded Israel AND OCCUPIED Gaza AND Judea and Sumaria. Egypt occupied Gaza and Jordan occupied Judea and Sumaria which later became known as the West Bank (of the Jordan). The war ended a year later and Egypt and Jordan kept the pieces they invaded. It wasn't until the 1967 war that the Israelis gained control of Gaza, the West Bank, and the Golan heights. And this time they kept them. Israel gave the Sini back to Egypt in the 80's and withdrew from Gaza in around 2004 so Gaza has been self-governing for more than 20 years. But the Palestinians elected Hamas to rule Gaza and Hamas made it its mission to kill all the Jews and has spent money which should have gone for infrastructure, etc on bombs and has been raining bombs down on Israel proper ever since. Thousands every year. So Israel retaliates.
As long as the Jews believe they are the chosen ones, there will be no peace in the Middle East.
Even the Muslims claim the Old Testament as their book and so they know the Jews are the chosen people.

In the late 40's when the British were trying to figure out the best way to partition the remainder of the Palestine Mandate, the Arabs refused to come to the table. They refused ALL plans at partitioning the territory. They wanted it all and would not tolerate the Jews getting any of it. The Grand Mufti of Jerusalem was a buddy of Hitler and hated the Jews as much as Hitler did. He convinced many Arabs living in the territory that the Jews would kill them if they stayed so many people simply left their homes and businesses and became refugees. After the war started the next day, there were more refugees. When the war ended, Israel expelled more Arabs due to their part in the war. The Arabs who stayed in Israel have all prospered along with their Jewish neighbors. The Palestinian refugees were never allowed to obtain citizenship so they became people without a country. They became a CAUSE to use against Israel.

What atrocities? The israelis give the Palestinians notice when they are going to bomb. Unlike the Palestinians, the Israelis don't ra** women and kill children. They do however hide behind the skirts of women and the carriages of babies and behind the hospital beds of the ill. Some "men".

Some of us read history.

You can believe all the propaganda you want. Don't bother with facts. They just cloud the issue.

There will never be a two-state solution again. The Palestinians are simply not capable of peacefully coexisting. Their only position is KILL ALL THE JEWS. It is hard to coexist with that.

And Israel is different,how?
Israel needs to eliminate Hamas and probably Hezbollah too. There can be no peace with them. The rest of the Palestinians have a choice. Live in peace or die.

Don't lose sight of the fact that NONE of the neighboring Arab nations will accept refugees from Gaza. Why? They've been burned by the hatred of the Palestinians before. They do not want those people stirring up trouble in their countries.

If the people of Palestine were even half-way serious about wanting peace, they wouldn't have voted for Hamas to be their leader - a terrorist organization. "Innocent", my as*

So I guess the Palestinians aren't sensible then either right? You do realize what it is to believe in Islam correct? A magic person in the sky that's going to take you to heaven if you do certain things?

It matters not, Pat, what you and I think is right. The fact that we've had this conversation, and acknowledge the world's disapproval of Israel's attempt at genocide, whilst carrying on with their sneaky settlers illegally clearing and living outside of their state, means that the tide is turning for Israel. And it's time to find a solution because, when Israel's finished with the Palestinians they'll move on to other tribes they don't like. Their book tells them...
Which is why I gave up on religion when I was old enough to realise the troubles it causes.
