This is a very unusual question; one to which I'm not sure there is a satisfactory solution. There is a database on a server that is being accessed by a dozen people. One or more of those people are changing entries that end up causing erroneous reports. Is there any way to trace an actual data entry to a user or a computer?

I understand that this is not a typical Access question, but any suggestions would be appreciated. It is suspected that one employee is doing this to make the boss look bad.

Thanks Uncle Gizmo. Actually the program being used by my friend is Approach ... the Lotus database. The friend called me because of my knowledge of Access and wondered if there might be similarities. I told her that I didn't think there was a way to trace a particular entry to a specific machine or person, but that I would try to find out. Thanks.
