auto colours??

Hi all,
Is it possible to have different colour fonts in forms automatically?

i want the user to add numerical data into the form but the middle numbers must automatically be coloured red. these numbers are then matched to stickers in the same format for easy identification.

it should look like this 878802

any suggestions?

ive tried all day to find an answer to this problem. if anyone could help i'd appreaciate it. it would mean a lot to a good cause because it helps identify pateints on a hospital system faster.

Sam,

Access does many wonderful things with forms (Conditional Formatting),
but you can't change PART of a textbox to a different color. It's not
a word processor.

What you need can be done, but you'll need to turn the single textbox
into multiple textboxes. Probably not worth the effort. An alternative
would be to search for "Rich Text" here.
