Auto Logout during Reply?

Quite often I find I have been logged out while typing a reply. Can you have the activity in the reply pane detected so this doesn't happen?

Related, perhaps, but not duplicate. I am not asking for more time to go make a sandwich. I am asking that activity in a key function of this site be detected, so one is not logged off while actively participating in the forum.

Either way it is controlled by the session timeout cookie.

There is no magical dialog between client/server while you are typing in a forum message. The only thing that exists is session timeout, and in my opinion the duration for that is too short.

Hi all,

Quite often I find I have been logged out while typing a reply.

I've had the same thing happen but I find that if I check the "Remember me?" box when I log in it doesn't happen.
Don't know if they're related or if it's just a fluke on my end.

It is a code issue, not a magic issue, you poor soul. It is a feature that can be addressed by the admin.
