auto populate from a combo box

Been working on this problem for a long time I know there is a simple solution please help.
I have a combo box, the row source type is a query and the row source is based on parameters from the values of the 2 previous fields in the form.
I have been trying to have the value in the column that it is bound, to populate this combo box without the user clicking on it. The drop down window from the query result is only one value.
Any help be appreciated

I don't know. It sounds like you're basing the combo on 2 other controls, so if you're requerying it or setting its rowsource, right after that would be the place.
