I am new to Access 2007 and have recently started using it with databases created in Access 2003. I am getting some strange results and am hoping there is a property or setting somewhere that will resolve this.
In several databases, I have a main form with a NON-LINKED subform on it. The subform (with a query record source) displays a list view of all records in the database. The subform acts as a "goto" utility; the user clicks on a record from the subform and the system scrolls to the corresponding record on the main form, which displays one record at a time.
In previous versions of Access, this has worked seamlessly. When I use the database in Access 2007, the subform is automatically filtering to ONLY display the current record from the main parent form. The Link/Master Child Fields properties are blank and so I'm thinking there must be some new property that is causing this automatic filter. But I'm not finding it.
Please advise... I would appreciate any work arounds. Thanks. -A
