Your manners, perhaps? Respect age, it's coming to you too!

sez you!

Yes I do believe that during the 1980s many of the records lost during the blitz were added back into the registry in the wrong order

yes, they must have put mine back incorrectly! Can you tell me all about the "Blitz" sometime? Were you frightened?

I had a nasty accident in 'Blitz Video Rentals' when I was a child (in the 80's) and that word still sends shivers down my spine.

What in the world is the blitz?

Vassago, clearly, where you come from, "The Future", they have a short term memory.

We don't have a short term memory here! How dare you say such a thing! Now....what were we talking about...? Who are you? Have we met?

Actually, I think it may have more to do with my age.

You're from the future, I'm from Brooklyn, but even here we heard of the blitz. Hint: London.

Yes, while London and in particular the images of St.Pauls standing in the midst of an inferno are synonymous around the world with the blitz, what is often forgotten is that virtually all of the cities in the UK were also blitzed.
In percentage terms related to its physical size, my home city suffered greater damage than any other city in the UK, including London.
There are scars still visible today:(

Only if you give me a 4 stroke lead...

Sorry I missed this thread while I was on business trip and holiday. It appears that the Watercooler is starting to infect the other forums.
