Average Date From Data Table

Good afternoon (Or morning, if you're in the US!),

This seems like a simple request, however my brain and Google aren't helping me.

I have a table, which contains amongst other things, a raised date and a completed date. What I'm trying to achieve is an average date to complete, so we can set targets to improve how long a task is outstanding.

I'm sure it's easy to do, but I'm not getting anywhere fast!

Can anyone help please?

Define "average date". A more customary measure would be "average time to complete", or "average duration".

Sorry, yes, "average duration" is what I was getting at.

Calender time? Then use the DateDiff functions.
Working days? Then you need to subtract the nonworking days. Google here or the web for "working days" - there are different solutions for that.
