I have a .gif I set up as the background, but it doesn't stretch for the full length of the form. As you can see in the picture, at the bottom where the record selector/scrollbar would be, my background picture is not filling.

Any help would be appreciated.

What screen resolution are your working on? What is the Size of the .Gif image? Have you tryed re-sizing the gif file to 800*600? If you have an image editor like Adobe PS try converting the image to jpeg. If the empty space at the end isnt needed try resizing the form and pressing ctr + S. Alternatively post your .gif image file here and i can resize it for you, test it with Access and get back to you.
Best Regards,
Chris

a. Turn picture tiling on
b. re-do gif
c. lose image all together (suggested)

:) Ken

DopeDealer:
Resolution - 1152x864
Resizing - If I try to resize to anything the image distorts on the form. The original size of the of the image is 1398 x 3

Ken:
a. Picture tiling should not be a problem because the picture is stretched for what should be the form width and height.
b. The gif was taken from a background of a webpage, so I can't remake it
c. The image is there for visual effect, while I could lose it altogether, I don't want to =)

I have attached the image to this post.

Edit: The problem is with the image because my other gradients do work.

Why not do it the right way?

Gradient Backgrounds

It is a lot of code but it works, it looks great and it will not bloat your db.

How much does the image add to the functionality of the db?

(Sorry - I'm a bit of a stickler on using images in Access :o )

Thanks for you replies. While the attached jpeg worked, the image colors did not line up for whatever reason. So I made a similar image and used that as the background.

Hudson:
While the sample database is interesting, I don't have the time to go in and actually figure out how I would implement three or more colors into the database. The sample only shows the left end and right end colors.

I'm sure it would be possible to go in and actually do what I want, but I just don't have the time. But nevertheless, I appreciate the information and will look into the gradientfill when I have more time. 'Tis interesting.

Thank you all,
Modest
