Oh, God, I DO NEED help!
I use a XL-linked table (prodotti) to get records and append them to another local table.
But now, when my code has to run
UPDATE Prodotti SET peso=null
it gives me a 3274 error: "External table is not in the expected format". After this, the table can no longer be opened, neither can the XL file, which causes XL to crash!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thank God I use LINUX, too, so I could recover almost all the XL file!!!!
But the error is still there!!!
Please, help me!!!

BTW, the XL file grows a lot in size after this! About 7 times bigger!!!!
Oh, I forgot: In the corrupted XL file I found some cells with
*** ERROR IN SST ***
