Barcode / QR scanner (1 Viewer)

I am looking to purchase a barcode/QR scanner to work with my database. Any suggestions?

I have been looking at the Wasp scanners an I have some questions. I am looking for one less than $100.00 with cradle that can scan a barcode/QR from a book to check it in/out of a library. The scanner is also needed to be used to scan a book and add it to my database with title information, author etc. Not sure how I want to approach it but that is some of my requirements. Any particular model that I should be looking for?

I work remotely but will ask somebody in the office what we have now. They use them with a cradle to scan ticket vouchers.

Our accounting people use Symbol LS2208 scanners, and I know they have them in a cradle so they just pass things underneath. I set up our parts people years ago with Wasp scanners and they worked well for them, but I don't recall the model. I work remotely from a different city so can't wander by and see what the parts people use now.
