Barcode Scanner

I have a question. I have the scanner and everything setup, but it always populates the text box with the number and an = sign in front of the number. Ex. =12548779 How can I correct this?

Trace it to the function that is setting the value of that text box and if after many many tries, use the Replace() function.

Another thought is to see if it's coming from the scanner by scanning into Notepad or something. Presuming the scanner is sending the =, there should be a setting available to change it.
