Barcoding

Morning everyone,

I am basically a freee lance programmer. Up until now I have developed 4 major Database both accounting and management. Presently I am doing an Accounting/Inventory database for a Trading Company. The manager had asked me to attach Bar-coding system. I

Now my question is that what hardware and software I can use so that it can be easily interacted with MS Access. Further more how would I attaché the barcode field in my invoice subform with the barcode hardware deriver so that when is swip the lazer it should accept my Product

You can interface directly using a port object. However most bar code scanner packages come with intermediary software (including drivers) you can take your output (barcode number) from this. How this may works depends on the company search. You are best calling them and asking.

well to be honest i dont know anything about the scanners, so i would be thankful if you could get me the names of any scanner model
