hola,

My friends parents small busness uses access (office xp), but once a month they would like their total expenses to be exported over to quickbooks (pro 2004). Its just 1 field to copy over, but is there any pluginable quickbooks support for access? They want it to be completly automatic, where it just happens when they click a button, they dont want to have to export or inport anything from access or quickbooks. basicly i think they thought this, since its just 1 field, would be super easy to do.

Is my assumption correct? if so, i can just tell them my doing it would cost way more than its worth. or if you could point me in the right direction as to were to start, that would be awesome too.

Ive got extensive c++ and 3d background but im green to this macro scene, thanks for your patience.

It is possible. I used to move data all the time from Access over into QuickBooks using VB. Just look on the developer website for QuickBooks there are examples and SDKs and everything.

I'd give you some code but I don't have it here with me. I'm going to be doing a similar project soon for a project so if we keep in touch, I could help you out here shortly with exact code.

I would be very interested in any code you have for movin gInvoice data from Access to Quickbooks.

Thanks
RIch
