Basic Relationships Question

If I have a table on the one side with several other tables on it's many side, may I establish relationships to each of those many tables with the 'one' table placed only once in the Relationships screen?

Example:

Table - State
Table - Customer
Table - Vendor

Customer and Vendor both use State.

Do I need to plop two State tables into the Relationship designer and establish the relationships separately, or may I just place it in there once, and establish both relationships from the same State table?

Sure hope that made sense.

I think I've seen it done both ways, but am unclear if either method is incorrect.

Nah... it won't matter. I just try to make the relationships screen easily understood. See the attachment.

I admire your sense of organization and subscribe to same. After inheriting several very haphazard databases, I can appreciate your comment.
