Best way to insert scanner image

Could anyone point me in the right direction to inserting a scanner image into a table.

I have the field set up as an OLE object. I have a form based on the relevant table, and would like to have a button on the form that will bring up the scanner's own software, then put either the scanned image or a reference to it into my table.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Be aware that the standard ACCESS OLE management will bloat up your MDB size to an incredible extent. I recommend to have a look at the "Solutions" page of the Wizard "Powerup Graphics with Access" at www.unsoftwareag.com. I suppose that you will see much clearer how to link your scanner with Access.
