Tell that to the TV advertisers. All we get is black Friday this and black Friday that. Yet another stupid Americanism creeping into the UK, like stupid trick or treat.
Actually, I read about a young child doing trick or treat, the homeowner didn't do a treat, so the kid threw some eggs at the owners BMW car. He called the police, now the kid (or his parents, who were present) are being done for causing criminal damage to property.

He teamed up with an ex student who he new dealt in drugs and other criminal activities.

The two characters followed opposing character arcs. The "upstanding" turning into a criminal, the criminal turning into a moral & upstanding character. It was a very good series.....
