Happy Thanksgiving everyone (in the US, that is)!
I would like to have either a picture or a blank screen behind my form. Is that doable? I have tried to Google that but can't seem to come up with anything.

in form design, properties, format tab you can select a picture for the background. Or if you want 'blank' - you can set the colour you want in the detail, header and footer sections of a form.

The picture can be set as tiled, zoom or stretched to fill the form

Thanks to CJ_LONDON!
I'M sorry, I guess I didn't explain myself well. What I want is to have a picture or blank screen behind the form. Years ago, I used to work with Access 97 and I seem to remember doing that. I could be wrong, its been a hard decade or so.

I think you are wrong - the only way I can see you could give that effect is to make your form popup and modal and then hide the access window - the 'picture' behind would be your desktop.

Alternatively create a popup and modal form with a picture background, maximise it and have all your other forms displayed as a subforms on the popup form

Dear CJ_London,
Thanks! Those are some real possibilities. I think I could use the second to come the closest to my original intentions.

Dear CJ_London,

Thanks for the ideas, but what I really want is to hide the Access UI. It may not be possible to do what I want, but wanting is free.
