How does one remove the layout guide that is automatically included in a blank form in 2010?

Not actually sure what you're asking about.
Do you want to turn off the Layout View?
Go to: File>Options>Current Database>Enable Layout View <Uncheck this box
If that ain't it, then please clarify what you're asking to do? Remove Grid or Rulers? or what?
