Blank Subform

I have a main form with a subform

when I delete the only record in the main form, the subform becomes blank (no line, nothing to see).

How can I avoid that. I want that the subform shows one blank record line.

1. Is the AllowAdditions property of the subform set to yes? It should be.
2. Is the subform based on a query that has an inner join to the table of the main form? It shouldn't be.
